Monday, August 19, was a sunny, hot day, yet produce doesn’t seem to be ripening at the expected speed….except the watermelon. We saw another large batch of watermelon today. Tomatoes are still hanging in there but numbers aren’t climbing like usual this year. We do expect an uptick still within the next week or two. Our next sale is Wednesday, August 21, starting at 10 am. We had our first of the season winter squash today and expect more at Wednesday’s sale.

How come the moms and purple fountain grass isn’t on the report the quantity and the price
We didn’t have any mums on the 19th or the 21st. Our first set of mums were on Friday, August 16.
