Friday, September 29, we had a smaller than usual attendance but produce was still up. Our tomatoes are definitely coming to an end for the season, as are the melons and other summer crops. We’ll continue to see a good number of pumpkins, gourds, squashes, and mums into October. Today, we had the addition of some turnips and saw the return of sweet corn and green beans. Our next sale will be Tuesday, October 3 at 10 am. This will be our last Tuesday sale of the year. Through the month of October, our sales will be on Fridays only after this next Tuesday sale. Next Friday, October 6, will be our first of the month hay sale, following the produce auction. We look forward to seeing you again on Tuesday, October 3.
