Wednesday, August 30, was a beautiful day for a sale. We were low on produce and attendance today, so it was a short sale with overall decreased prices. We had quite a few more mums today, as well as squashes. For those who were looking for some cantaloupe today, I’m told we’ll have more at our next sale on Friday, September 1st, starting at 10am. Along with cantaloupe, we’re expecting our first batch of bulk quantity pumpkins on Friday. Plus, there’ll be a short hay sale directly following the produce sale – we’re expecting 75 bales of 3rd cutting alfalfa/clover/grass mix and 40 bales of 1st cutting grass square bales. For more details on our projected items for Friday’s sale, check out our expected items page.
