Monday, August 28, was a beautiful, cooler day. The produce was coming in strong and the attendance was solid. Prices were strong and moods were upbeat. There’s definitely a fall feeling in the air and I think everyone is happy for the change after last week’s intense heat! We had more mums at this sale and some other pretty fall flowers. We expect to continue to have mums, asters, and ornamental grass at our sales on Wednesday and Friday this week, as well as a good crop of melons and squashes. It looks like we’ll start seeing the pumpkin harvest coming in this Friday, as well. Our next sale will be Wednesday, August 30 at 10am. This is our last Wednesday sale for the year. Next week we switch back to Tuesdays and Fridays at 10am. For details on what’s expected at Wednesday’s sale, check out our expected items page.
