Friday, June 2 was a hot one! Can you believe it’s June already? Our attendance was good, especially considering the small amount of produce available. Our sale started at 10 am and ended at 11am. Flowers are pretty much done for the year and the fruits and vegetables are just starting to really get going. We expect by end of next week to really be seeing some larger quantities of edibles. I’m certainly ready for the fresh produce – and it looks like a lot of other people agree with me…. Prices were up quite a bit – most notably in the strawberries. We had tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, green onions, radishes and, of course, strawberries. We even had a few special flower arrangements and some red beets and kohlrabi. Our next sale will be Tuesday, June 6 at 10am.
